在信里写到contractor retained a lawyer on Sept 17th, 2013 and threatened a lawsuit unless his contract can be reinstated, Condo refused. Then less than a week later Contractor sued the Condo for 86K. But the first trail wasnt held until Oct 2017.If your lawyer reviewed the status report, condo corp must disclose legal actions against it. Maybe the legal action was after you moved in although it happened before.
Based on aforementioned information, my understanding is there was an open lawsuit against the Condo back at the time i purchased the unit. So the question now is, in the event Condo Corp failed the appeal, should i go after the lawyer who represented me at the purchase or should i go after the Condo?
