老外回答：价格要看是什么厂家的、排量和型号、年份等。
其实我的那位同事只关心（最低）多少钱能拥有汽车，其他都不管。
这里的问题有异曲同工之处。

$15K you only need pay $3K out of your pocket now, rest in mortgage, small monthly payment. and when you get your new house, your basement is ready for you to enjoy.
do it later by hiring other contractor, say $10K, you need to pay that amount cash right away and you suffer a few months of renovation in basement after you move in.
