Winter didn’t get the memo that the first day of spring is just a week away.

Wednesday’s forecast is for as much as 9 cm more snow and double-digit lows are on tap later this week.

On Wednesday, expect periods of snow totalling 5 cm, northwest winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40 and a high of 1 C.

Overnight, Environment Canada predicts 2-4 cm of snow and a low of-3 C.

There’s a 40 per cent chance of flurries Thursday, a high of -1 C and a low of -7 C.

Friday’s forecast is for sun and -3 C but those clear skies bring a nippy low of -11 C overnight.

For Saturday, the forecast is for mixed skies, a high of -1 C and a low of -10 C.

Sunday is a mix of sun and cloud with a high of -2 C.
