This weekend’s temperatures with windchill are a bit more suited to January than mid-March, but skiers and families finishing off March Break will be delighted.
(For those taking part in St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, not so much.)
On the plus side, Saturday will start out mostly sunny, with clouds moving in later today, with a few flurries. The story is in the winds, at 30 km/hour gusting to 50 this morning, but lightening up later Saturday afternoon.
Environment Canada predicts a high of -6 C, with a windchill of -15 for Saturday.
Tonight should see a low of -19 C and a windchill of -26.
Sunday is predicted to be mainly sunny with a high of -5 C and a low of -17 C overnight.
