At least the weekend didn’t start out with the predicted 2-4 cm of snow, we have seemed to dodge that bullet.

But don’t start celebrating spring just yet, cool temperatures, possible flurries and blustery winds are in the forecast for the weekend.

Saturday will have a mix of sun and clouds with a forecast high of 0 C and winds from the northwest at 30 km/h gusting to 50. The low Saturday night will dip down to -8 C.

Sunday looks much the same, with a predicted high of 0 C and a 30 per cent chance of flurries in the afternoon. Sunday night will be clear night with a low of -5 C.

Temperatures rise next week, but not by much and there are rain showers and flurries in the forecast. Oh yay!

We’re not sure how you feel, but we’re pretty tired of seeing pictures in our Facebook feed of the cherry blossom trees in full bloom in BC.

Just in case you haven’t seen any, here you go.
