MHS 二十年前辉煌的时候， 巴统连高中都没有

CBY三十年前不是烂校?
没IB不也得跟Rideau High一样关门?

Board现在做的就是再重复他们曾经做过的。。第二个site也会象第一个site一样成功。。成为全北美IBO的Top 5%..

IB及其高中，在升加拿大大学时，没什么优势，除非你去爬美国藤校。这是经验之谈。
大学内部有个自己的排名，是根据大学历年来自各个高中的学生，在大学的表现排名的。和Fraser的排名关系不大。

恰好说反了，IB去申请美国大学的作用不如AP，因为AP在美国更普遍，IB去美国有个折算分数的问题，比较麻烦，所以美国学校更希望AP，他们熟悉，操作起来方便。IB被美国大学接受也是近几年的事。

瞧我们这运气，孩子今年九月份上高中，本来想去Lisgar，因为房子的问题阴差阳错去不成了，而且Lisgar今年也是最后一批招GP学生。现在决定去CBIB，刚买好了学校附近的房子，又说MH明年要开IB，而我们现在的地址正该去MH，可惜时间上差一年，赶不上MHIB了。
MH一开IB，CBIB的生源和师资肯定受影响。所以跟孩子说，靠运气是靠不住的，只能靠自己，不管老师同学如何变化，关键还在于自己。

现在下手已经晚了，找下一个烂校吧，一定要找最烂的一个，等下一次什么鸟PROGRAM出来的时候也发一笔校区房的财。

每年700+的学生申请参加考试，即使这两年CBY扩容，每年招收从160升到196人，仍有500+的考生失望。
增加一个新的容量每年140名学生的新IB site，每年仍有将近一半的考生上不了。

这些年，CBY基本是靠西部南部生源输血。教育局为了维护今后东部CBY的生源，不得不说煞费苦心，现在拿出的划界首选方案把离Merivale High最近的西部designated schools 为Nepean High和Woodroffe High的学生划给了CBY。。滑稽。。

更西部的Kanata/Sttisville，西南的Barhaven/Riverside south再各加一个IB site多吗？
