One male stabbed in O'Connor-Somerset area, another arrested

A male was taken to hospital with a minor wound to a hand or forearm after being stabbed in the area of O’Connor and Somerset streets on Saturday, Ottawa police said.

Central division took a call from Ottawa paramedics about the stabbing at 4:45 p.m. The victim was transported to the General campus of The Ottawa Hospital.

One male was arrested in relation to the incident, but no other details were immediately available.
