Ottawa police arrested three people during a drug bust in Centretown on Tuesday.

According to police, the street crime unit executed a warrant Florence Street between Bank and Kent streets, in response to several complaints about the possibility of drug trafficking at a residence.

Police seized cash, drug-packing materials and a variety of suspected drugs, including fentanyl, crack cocaine, hydromorphone, heroin and nabilone, a synthetic form of cannabis usually used to treat nausea in cancer patients. Health Canada still needs to test and confirm the drugs.

Three people, all from Ottawa, were charged and released on a promise to appear in court.

Mandi Littlewood, 43, is charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking and possession of nabilone for the purpose of trafficking.

Paul Carter, 50, is charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking and possession of nabilone for the purpose of trafficking.

Darren McLeod, 26, of Ottawa is charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking and possession of nabilone for the purpose of trafficking.
