Mayor Jim Watson will present the Key to the City to The Right Honourable David Johnston and Mrs. Sharon Johnston, at City Hall on April 18, 2018.
The Right Honourable David Johnston is being recognized for an unwavering commitment to education, learning and innovation, youth, philanthropy and volunteerism, with the distinct honour of serving as Governor General of Canada from 2010 to 2017.
Mrs. Sharon Johnston is being recognized for an illustrious career in rehabilitation science with a steadfast commitment to mental health and wellness advocacy and dedication and support of indigenous youth and families.
Date: Wednesday April 18, 2018
Time: 7 to 8 pm (A reception will follow– by invitation only)
Location: Ottawa City Hall, Andrew Haydon Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West
