City police are seeking public assistance in solving the theft of a collection of about 900 comic books in a break-and-enter last month.
The rural south end home – police say they’re holding back the precise location for investigative reasons – was burglarized sometime between Tuesday, Feb. 6 and Thursday, Feb. 8.
Police did not mention specific titles, nor was there any estimated value on the stolen collection.
Anyone with information is asked to call the break and enter unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 3515. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
