Mayor Jim Watson will welcome Mona Fortier, MP for Ottawa-Vanier, and the Honourable Bob Chiarelli, Minister of Infrastructure and MPP for Ottawa West—Nepean, for a milestone event in LRT history: the installation of the final rail clip on the O-Train Confederation Line track. The event will start at Tremblay Station, where attendees will board the train and travel into the entrance of the tunnel.

Attire: Personal protective equipment (PPE) required:
Parking: Parking is not available on site. A shuttle will depart at 1 p.m. sharp from the Lisgar Street entrance of Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West. The bus will return to City Hall at approximately 2:45 pm.

- Long pants
- Long sleeve shirt
- Sturdy walking shoes due to uneven ground
- Hard hats, safety vests and safety goggles will be provided on-site for those who do not have their own
