Ottawa police say a body was found inside a burning car Wednesday morning near Carp.
Ottawa fire spokeswoman Danielle Cardinal said they received a call to the scene on Carp Road at 12:48 p.m., but would not give further information.
Police said it’s “still far too early to speculate on the details.” They said the body was found after the fire was extinguished.
Carp Road is closed from Baird Side Road to Thomas A. Dolan Parkway. Police advised drivers to find an alternate route while they continue the investigation.
