In a sure sign that summer is on the way, Parliament Hill Yoga is back – even if it has moved to Ottawa City Hall for the day.

And there’s plenty of sunshine to salute along with a high of 25 C and a low of 14 C.

“All you need to bring is a mat, water, and a great attitude!” say organizers of the Wednesday yoga sessions from noon to 1 p.m. Throw in some sunscreen, too, with a UV index of 7 or high.

The clouds are expected roll back in Thursday with showers beginning near noon, the risk of an afternoon thunderstorm and a high of 22 C. There’s a 40 per cent chance of showers and a low of -1 C.

For Friday, expect a mix of sun and cloud. a high of just 13 C and a low of 3 C.

Saturday’s outlook is a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 per cent chance of showers by day and 40 per cent overnight, a high of 13 C and a low of 10 C.

The forecast for Sunday – it’s Mother’s Day, in case you’ve forgotten – is an improvement with mixed skies and 19 C.

The new week is starts with a warming trend with highs of 22 C Monday and 24 C Tuesday.
