A reception centre has been set up at 101 Centrepointe Drive, Ben Franklin Place, for the families of residents displaced by a fire at 1 and 3 Meridian Place.
The fire occurred at approximately 3 am on May 27, 2018.
Residents affected by the fire are currently sheltered at Ben Franklin Place. Related City services have been mobilized to actively monitor and respond to the situation. The Red Cross and Salvation Army are currently on site to provide support.
The City of Ottawa asks family members to come to the reception centre. Those unable to attend in person are asked to call 3-1-1.
