Thank you for the great example. :D :D :D

我觉得classic是个褒意词, 用在该句中不合适. 我用"notorious" :D

The Classical Era (1750-1825)

The Classical period is one of the most confusing periods of music, mostly due to all of the meanings of "classic". Classic can mean anything that has to do with Greek or Latin antiquity. But a classic could mean a model of excellence, like a classic Ford Mustang or classical music......

I am a parliamentary interpreter, and I have the ambition of speaking three languages (Italian, French and English)as a native - having been lucky enough to speak them since I was a baby .
I have always known the difference between "classic" and "classical" as well as between "historic" and "historical". Now, all of a sudden (well, it has been some time, now), I don't seem to remember such difference (I am over 60, it must be age!), perhaps because NOBODY seems to care about it and everybody uses either adjective indifferently. It is impossible to find an explanation in any dictionary or grammar. Can you help me, please?
