National Peacekeepers’ Day is Thursday, August 9, 2018, and it honours all Canadian peacekeepers who have served or who are currently serving in peacekeeping operations around the world.
The flags at all City of Ottawa sites will be flown at half-mast on Thursday, August 9, from sunrise until sunset to commemorate these courageous and committed men and women.
