The City’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee today recommended approving a zoning amendment for the next phases of the Mahogany subdivision in the Village of Manotick.
Minto has already started construction on the first phase of the subdivision. The approved zoning would permit several future phases planned for 5651 First Line Road, including 897 housing units, a school, parks and open space. When complete, the Mahogany community will contain about 1,400 units.
Items from today’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee meeting requiring City Council approval will go to Council on Wednesday, October 10.
