什么情况?RRSP Meltdown?

There is no problem at age 55 you can transfer parts or all, depends on amounts of your LIBA if you are retired, just has Yearly Maximum Pensionable Earnings – YMPE limits requirement. It all depends the mounts of your LIBA. That is why it suggests yearly transfer. Note: You will never able to withdraw fund from your LIBA, it has to be converted to LIF or RRSP/RRIF.

Generally speaking the only way to get money out of your locked in accounts is to retire. In most cases, the earliest age you can access pension money is age 55, Some situations allow for access to funds before the age of 55.

Call your LIBA administrator for details.

More complicated than you would believe. We were talking about locked-in RRSP, by the way.

Typo LIBA here should be LIRA. Whole system sucks just like the climate. We have to live with it.

How did you get this point, man?
It could be very rare to have that big RRSP, even for high flyers ( they don't use much RRSP). If a typical employee's RRSP grows to $2,000,000, It much be through investment gains or trading. When it grows astonishing fast through trading, SEC or OSC will investigate it.
