Trudeau’s favourability among the public continues to sink alongside Liberal fortunes

The Conservatives are now sitting pretty in crucial provinces Ontario and British Columbia, with Trudeau managing to fall behind among two of the key demographics that swept him to victory in 2015, women and young people.
If an election were held tomorrow, the Conservatives would receive 40 per cent of the vote among decided voters, according to the poll of 1,002 Canadians conducted between March 25 and 27.

A woman approached the stage as the PM was addressing the Liberal faithful at a reception for Laurier Club members, meaning people who had donated at least $1,500 to the Liberal Party.
“Prime Minister Trudeau, people of Grassy Narrows are suffering from mercury poisoning, you committed to addressing this issue, when will you keep that promise,” the woman said before security guards began to drag her away.
Trudeau’s response was nothing short of tone deaf.
“Thank you very much for your donation tonight. I really appreciate the donation to the Liberal Party of Canada,” he said.
So much for Sunny Ways.
