mortgage rate

刚刚去问了,我的3.4要换只能得到3.29,因为只有一年了。如果换成5年的要交罚款。
啥破银行啊,这是要和你断交啊!很多银行不到一年都可以提前renew了。你是不是没按时付款啊:rolleyes:

2.79% with RBC for 5 years is already very good.

I just remortgaged mine with RBC for a 5 year fixed of 2.85% a week ago... Much worse
RBC offered 2.84, I told them Tangerine’s five yr fixed is 2.74 and asked them to match, they lowered it to 2.79.
 
why just stay with RBC and accept 2.79% rate? switch to CMLS you only save 1000-936=$64. doesn't worth it :)
For every 100k, it saves 200/ yr, it saves 1000 for five years. My mortgage is 200k, it will save me 2000 - 936 = 1064.

最近有最低2.19的。
哪有那么简单,对方借给你钱的同时,会放个lien 在你的房子上,你不把钱还清的话,别想把lien 拿掉。
哪个银行给2.19啊?知道有给2.49的, 但只给自住房,不给投资房,我这房是投资房。
Tangerine两年fixed的是2.64, 但要appraisal, 不光花钱,还有我的房客十月生孩子,不想打扰她。tangerine还要求我找律师办理相关手续,律师费又是一笔,太麻烦,我就算了。

利率是复利,就算和递减互相抵消了。RBC给我降到2.74我就不离开了,但RBC只降到2.79。
0.05% makes no big deal, even if your mortgage is 10M:rolleyes:
