他们也纠缠了我 4-5 小时, 不过那是我故意让他那么做的.
我是为了练习英语,尤其是口语的谈判技巧!!!!!!!!

看您前面的帖子，觉得您象是有头脑有主见的人。

不过如果你一开始就没兴趣在他们那里买东西，你"故意让他那么做的.为了练习英语,尤其是口语的谈判技巧!"。这样确实不好，你是在浪费人家的时间，除非你以前真在那里受过伤害。

练口语可以有很多地方，没有必要钓人家的胃口，人家也要糊口。

看您前面的帖子，觉得您象是有头脑有主见的人。

不过如果你一开始就没兴趣在他们那里买东西，你"故意让他那么做的.为了练习英语,尤其是口语的谈判技巧!"。这样确实不好，你是在浪费人家的时间，除非你以前真在那里受过伤害。

练口语可以有很多地方，没有必要钓人家的胃口，人家也要糊口。

Here I want you to know "who is wasting whoes time".
If you have ever been called by their tele-marketers, you will know what their sales-persons have done..
They did not tell you what their products are, what benefits you can get.... They just told you that there is a big gift for you to pick up. And they ask you they need your personal information to claim the gift(我曾为此激动不已), such as yearly income, your preference...otherwise you will lose the gift. 他们只是想把你骗去在说..
I think they collect this information to see whether you are profitable or have potential interests in their package.
他们的销售人员太难缠.... 他们的推销人员给我打电话好几次..
I really have been hurt by this kind of activities...
I want to be treated with some respect and i think lots of us (if not all of us) want to this.

(2)about "没有必要钓人家的胃口"
I want you know 到底是谁在钓谁的胃口?
是他们一开始把我的胃口钓的很高, 害的我大晚上忍受着一天上班的疾牢开车老远去的..
我本来想听到一半的PRESENTATION 离开的(我的"直觉"是很好的), 是他们缠着我不让我走的..

(3) About "人家也要糊口"
糊口也得诚实, 尤其是经商(IN BUSINESS).我承认我们都不容易,他们的这样的糊口会坑害好多的人的....


最好, 我想说... 我对那些诚实,有信用的推销是欢迎的. 反之, 我是不客气的, 我非常珍惜我的时间和精力... I want to be treated with some respect by their sales-persons.

我想问你, 你到底赞成还是反对他们的做法?
如果你赞成, 我就没什么好说的了.....
如果你反对的话, 你还要助胄为孽么? 我们应该做一些来帮助他们使更少的人做同样的事情...
无论你的答案是什么, 你的结论是站不住脚的..恕我直言如有IMPOLITE!!!!!!!

从你这个回贴，看得出你在去之前或在他们劝说你的时候，就觉已经得你自己是个被骗的，从这个角度，你和他们说5个小时练英语到深夜，并从中提高您的英语表达的技巧，倒是可以理解。

至於说你去了那里，听到一半想走，‘他们缠着我不让我走的.’这就有点困惑了，这里是个自由社会，你说你不舒服要回家，他们还能搞几个大汉把你按着，不让你走?这里的警察估计也不能这样做吧。

很多国人在类似场合会考虑中国传统的面子，没有断然拒绝，这样人家就会理解成你想要更好的DEAL。

对於这种MARKETING公司，既然他们存在到现在，肯定是合法的。我也相信在商业行为中，肯定有个别人利欲熏心，指鹿为马的，这样的行为肯定是要受到谴责的。

从我们消费者角度，一方面要警惕SALES的夸张的宣传，但是我们自己是否想想为什么有的人能够被说动，而有些人根本不会去浪费这个时间?

如果一开始就对这些业务有疑问，就不要被他们的便宜货吸引，早点回绝。我几乎每个礼拜都接到这样类似的电话，也没必要跟他们急，说对你们的产品和DISCOUNT不敢兴趣就得了，也不会有这么多麻烦。

你的"说话要负责.... "，就言重了吧，我就是一个吃技术饭的，谁也没有给我好处，没必要特意为谁说话。您说是吗?

It's a good business for GEO. Not everyone will need this service. I have been a GEO member since 2000. I do not really like it but think it is useful for some people. There is no free lunch in this world. You got a four day lodging for Florida, you have to pay the costs. They are not cheaters. Once you signed a contract, you signed it. I asked to cancel the contract too. But I have to live with it. You are lucky that they did not sue you for the full value of the contract under the law. They are entitled to sue you for the full amount of the contract under Ontario law.

我倒是有个想法，如果你不怕面子拉不下的话，你把你的故事就做个牌子，句句实情，挂在脖子上，每个周末都去他们公司门口站着，我去过类似的公司，不过看了看就走了，我发现周末去的人还不少，当然里面的托也不少拉，总会有那么一两对人上当受骗，你就是让这些人别在受骗，他们会知道你这样做的影响，你的钱不一定要得回来，但有点希望，一般他们这样的骗子，怕就是怕难缠而不要脸的人（就是拉下面子不要的人，不是骂你）。

It's a good business for GEO. Not everyone will need this service. I have been a GEO member since 2000. I do not really like it but think it is useful for some people. There is no free lunch in this world. You got a four day lodging for Florida, you have to pay the costs. They are not cheaters. Once you signed a contract, you signed it. I asked to cancel the contract too. But I have to live with it. You are lucky that they did not sue you for the full value of the contract under the law. The reason I wanted to return it was I believed they charged me more than I needed if I did it my own way after my careful calculation. And the way they do business made me very uncomfortable.

Since I had never tried the membership, sometimes, I believe this may be good for local people with their life style. To take an example, local people buy cottages in some mountain areas. It costs 50 -100K, plus mainteinence cost every year, they live there for a few weeks every year. The locations of cottages are fixed. Comparing with this, GEO membership may not be that bad.

The reason I wanted to return it was I believed they charged me more than I needed if I did it my own way after my careful calculation. And the way they do business made me very uncomfortable.

The GEO membership is not for the common Chinese life style. If you are looking for a four or five star hotel, this is not the place for you. This thing is good for a family vacation with kids. It's not for your normal holiday. It's worth my while because I can have different washroom with my kids and can cook for the family. I still use a lot of other hotels for holidays during the year. Unless I want to go for a vacation and relax, I will not use the condo. I have not been to any GEO location. I exchanged my week with other locations and time I wanted using RCI.

A one week holiday with hotel costs US$2,000 in dining out for my family of 5 in 2001 in Florida. In 2002, we went to Florida with condo for one week and cooked most of the meals in the condo. The costs for the meals were reduced to US$500. You can save money using condo the hard way. That's the only reason condo shares are popular with people like me. Timeshare is for people who just want to have some time on the beach and not going to visit anywhere. Hotel is way better for the young and young at heart. (I lived in Ontario for nearly 20 years already and not eager to visit many places during my vacations).

言重了。仔细看楼主的帖子，感觉他的矛盾焦点是那个RUSSIAN女人和经理。那几个国人顶多是初级的SALES。

现在网上有很多华人顾客和商家的矛盾。往往一讨论就开始把指责的矛头指向在那里工作的华人。吃柿子尽拣软的捏，好象是华人之间相互骗似的，这个风气不好，

为什么不去把那个RUSSIAN女人和经理揪出来呢? 你敢吗?
