他们说他们公司有个 PROMOTION。听完他们的讲座， 就可以抽奖。奖品包括免费提供到加勒比海、佛罗里达等地方游玩的 4－5 星级宾馆级的住宿。

哦，以前我也碰到过这种事，我跟他们说那些地方我都有别墅，常开自己的飞机去。

他们的讲座 8:30 开始。说好大约 90 分钟。
所谓的讲座， 就是推销他们的产品， 也就是他们的 GeoHoliday Club 的会员身份。因为太贵， 我坚持不要。两个同胞推销员，加上她们的老板，对我展开车轮战。

我那天从早上8点上班， 5点多下班后到那。车轮战到第二天凌晨一点多时我已头脑昏涨，饥饿难挨，终于犯下大错：在合同上签下自己的名字。

所以一开始就应该跟他们表明你哪毕比尔盖茨还牛的身份，说可以请他们来帮你洗厕所，问他们干不干。要面带微笑。

比如说这个会员身份是有有效期的，benefit 也远没有推销员说的那么好。
所以我到那个公司去要求退货。

比如说这个会员身份是有有效期的，benefit 也远没有推销员说的那么好。
所以我到那个公司去要求退货。

The agreement did not say that I could cancel and get the money back in 5 days. I did not see this at least.

I went to the promotion on a Tuesday, signed the agreement at Wedesday morning at 1 - 2 am.
I asked them to refund my deposit on the following Tuesday, but they do not open on Friday and Monday. So, the total business days are within 3 days.

I asked them to refund my deposit on the following Tuesday, but they do not open on Friday and Monday. So, the total business days are within 3 days.

You mean you signed it on last Tuesday (Dec.16)?
This condition for cancellation is in the first paragraph of your agreement " Membership Understanding and ...." Check it!

Oh.. Sorry about it, I am not sure what you can do now.
If you have proof to show that they cheated on you, maybe you can ask a lawyer for help if you want.

我开始要求取消合同的那天， 他们态度友好，但拒绝取消。
按照他们的说法： 一旦签字， 就是铁板定案。
我争辩：我在其它地方如 Walmart 等买货， 在45天内可以退， 为什么他们的不行？
在争吵中，他们无意中说出我的合同已经过了5天。

据说加拿大有法律规定对于某些类型的消费（包括俱乐部等），消费者有5-7天的“冷静期”，其间消费者可以要求取消合同。详情我也不清楚，最好能够向消费者保护局之类的机构了解一下。
