[请求] Help to Install Linux 7.3

I have not been here for a long time. I remember that there used to be a forum for posting IT/Computer questions, and don't seem to be able to find it now. So, I'll try to post it here. If it is in the wrong place, Editor pls feel free to move to whererver it belongs.

Anyway, here is my puzzle: I downloaded the recent Linux 7.3 OS 3 big files from Red Hat, recorded them into 3 CDs, and tried to start up my computer through the first CD (If successful, this should allow me to install Linux into my computer) but failed. The CD Rom flashes, but nothing happens on screen. What might be the problem? Where is the right place to download a working copy of Linux OS?

Could anybody with Linux installation experience please tell me how I can get this free OS installed? If you have a working copy and are willing to lend, please E-mail me at zlu98@hotmail.com.

我想可能是你光盘刻坏了。那三张盘是镜像文件，不能将其中的文件展开再拷到光盘上。

I did not unzip the 3 image files. When recording the 3 image files, the process unzipped all the files automatically.

That's waht I did. If anything improper, what is the proper way of transfering the 3 image files into CDs?

如果不是光盘问题，你可以尝试从软盘启动。
在red hat的installation guide里，你可以找到制作启动盘（软潘）的方法和必要文件。
将3张静想文件放在硬盘上，用软盘启动后，跟着指示作就可以了。
