Nortel Networks is cleaning house.
The company is firing from the top down. Gone are CEO Frank Dunn, CFO Douglas Beatty and Comptroller Michael Gollogly.
Beatty and Gollogly have been on paid leave over a scandal surrounding Nortel's restatement of earnings.
Nortel now says it is slashing its 2003 earnings in half.
Nortel is not reporting first quarter earnings at this time.
The company has appointed William Owens as its new President and CEO, Bill Kerr as Chief Financial officer and Angela McMonagle is Nortel's new comptroller.
