Don't make so much noise now. Nothing is clear now. On Lakers's side, Malone, Fisher and Geroge had under-par game, so did Hamilton on Pistone side. Imaginge if Malone woke up and Fisher made a few 3 pinters, what would have been the result?
One thing for sure, Piston played a smart game. They claimed that they would play hack-shark game, but they really didn't do that. That's why Shaq got 34 points without too many troubles. As larry Brown mentioned after the game, Pisotn played hard on all the lakers except for O.K.. He realized that O.K. is hard to stop, why can't we shut down the rest of lakers. O.K. score combination is not enough to win the game. Phil Jackson will adjust his plan and Lakers will have to score at least 85 points to win over the Piston. I bet Larry Brown won't give up hack-shark, he just saves it for the later games.
I don't know what you guys think about Pisotn. People all think this is a defensive team, but I see them as a very balanced team. They offence force is pretty enormous too. In each game, 3 or 4 of Pistons can score double digits. Anyway, this series can be interesting and Lakers will face a different challenge from what they had in previous games. Things will be a little bit more clear after game 2.
