当初有不少人想捡PALM的死兔子，可没想到一上来就被套。这捡兔子的学问也不少，九戒给大伙分析分析？

It's matter of probabilities. A big win or loss doesn't tell the whole story. Win/Loss rate is major indicator when you do bottom fishing. Some stocks will drop 90% in one day, and wipe out all your small profits accumulated in weeks or months.

Regarding MTI.B, there are total 31,231,043 shares. 7,716,387 (about 2.5% of total) shares have changed hands today. Price drops 47.6%, which means its 97.5% shareholders lost almost half of their money on this single trading day.

The reasons of these 2.5% shareholders selling:
A. Bad news, its price could be lower in very near future;
B. Sell short, some people predicted its price could be lower in near future;
C. Had to sell, because some shareholders had margin problem;
D. Inside trading;
E. what else?

Let analyze a little more:
A is obvious, but should it drop so much? Remember 97.5% shareholders still hold it.
B is unlikely.
C is definitely there, but we do not know the percentage.
D is unlikely, because they should do it before the bad news came out.

I hope C took a big percentage.
It will be an intresting day tomorrow.

熊市炒penny stock风险太大.
而且手续费太高(1000股 单边$29).

如果现在是大牛市,我绝对跟进.

不过，我买 30,000 手续费也是 $29。

在 Nortel 股票上栽的人，大部分都是在大牛市跟进的。

当股价在 6 cents 时， 确有让大家跟进的意思，因为我认为当时风险很小。
现在已没有让大家跟进的意思，只是想证明当时风险的确很小。
题目摆明是分享嘛。其实我是在探索，也想与大家共同探索股市运作的规律。
