请问，渥太华和carleton 大学，综合来说，哪个更具实力？

I will say Carleton is a little better than Ottawa U.

why? Its hard to say because Carleton's co-op is better than OU oblivously.. means that the courses in Carleton are more widely accepted in the industry.

So, when you finding co-op or job after graduate. Your chance of getting a job ( dont know if it is good or not ) will be easier.

Carleton students always say their school is better. On the other hand Ottawa student always say their school is better. But which is real better? UO has medical school, a famous Law school, The best in Biosciences acrosss Canada. Ranked 5th of Business schools in Canada. What does Carleton have? A computer science school, they have Areospace engineering, they have Journalism, Mass communication, that Uo does not have. But Carleton's Economics belongs to the faculty of Art, because they do not have a business school individually. In my point of view, UO is more like a university that provides everything which a university should give to you. Carleton is more like a communicaty college, you can learn whatever you want to learn and get quicker to find a job and earn money. In University of Ottawa, you could feel how the histroy is, that's why UO is 100 year older than Carleton. On thing you should be in caution, UO is the moet bellingal university in the world, that means you could learn Francis during your university study without paying any extra charge. Carleton, does not have Francis course, once their students graduates, they are extremely hard to find job in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Therefore, consider to ask more people, and even call your agent in China, or ask students from places other than Ottawa, e.g Toronto, Hamilton, London, Kingston, and Oshawa. They might have the same concern as yours, and they might get more research than people in here that with no research and just open their mouths.

cu当然不是什么都比 ou better，ou 有大型的医学院，法律学院，哲学研究在加拿大名类前茅，而且又是法英双语教学，学生人数多，综合实力肯定是ou强。ou 每年对学生包括留学生都有1000块赞助，历史悠久

很少cu学生会像你所说“Carleton students always say their school is better.”cu 学生比ou少，只有一个campus，正如你所说像个“college”.cu只是在某些领域比 ou better，例如 mass communication, computer, engineering, mathematics, business,还有，cu 的 statistics 在世界处于领先地位

没有必要讨论这种问题.读本科两个学校都可以,读研究生,离OTTAWA任何大学越远越好.

sorry， 楼主， 这里我不客气的问你，您惟恐天下不乱是吧? 这种话题不是明摆的是引发吵架的么，而且问的很没意义。你要知道综合实力干什么?要搞投资?还是要在什么项目上注入大比资金啊。再说不管那个学校，不好好学习照样FAIL，照样不能毕业。我要是你我就自己去网站上查找资料，甚至亲自探访学校，看那个学校更适合自己，而不是跑到这里发这种话题引发争吵。

同事也建议斑竹以后彻底封杀这种无聊帖子，有什么好比的!

我现在有个白人同学，从cu转过来的，他打了个比喻，说cu整个就象是我们带进考场的formula sheet(prof sometimes names that as cheat sheet)
另外ou的人数学过不了的去cu再读，好象已经不是什么新闻了
