Chiropractor is a medical doctor, only they go through chiropractic school (or chiropodiatry in UK) instead of medical school.

Physiotherapist is a fancier name for masseur/masseuse

$40 for 45 minutes is a little bit below market rate.
I pay my massage therapist $60 for an one hour session, head to toe massage. Since July-1-2004, this is no longer covered under OHIP. Have you all signed the petition?

Dr Zhang's rate(35-40/session, 45 minutes) is a little bit higher than those in China Town, it's not a big deal if it is covered by the company insurance though.

I thought they had never been covered by OHIP

What are the following words mean in Chinese, our company insurance cover up to $750 for each item each calendar, some of them, I never know what they are:blowzy:

chiropractors
physiotherapists
podiatrists
naturopaths
osteopaths

psychologists/social worker(i know this)
speech therapists(I know this)
massage therapist(I know this)

OHIP used to cover some cost, like $10 per chiropractor visit. Your insurance company usually covers the rest. However there is usually a max per visit charge (e.g. $25 per visit up to 25 visits per calendar year, or things like that).

Do you know that orthotics or orthotic shoes are also covered in most insurance plans? Just need a podiatrist or your family doctor's medical note.

March: speech therapy is usually used for people who are recovering from an accident that impaired their speaking ability. To better your English pronounciation, you should really just get an English-speaking boyfriend.
