CIBC为什么免费送保险给我？

今天收到CIBC免费赠送保险的信，所有CIBC客户，只要自己填表签字，就免费送$1,000.00的10年人身意外保险，自己不需缴纳任何费用，不知他们为什么这样做，仅仅是为了拉客户吗？我需要沾这个便宜吗？

我好像收过两次了，区区$1000的死亡保险有什么用，懒得费神研究小字，扔垃圾桶了。

They only give you $1000 if you die (non-sense), but if you want more, say $10,000 you will need to pay, that is trick CIBC is playing...

I always toss that kind of letters to the garbage bin.
In the rare case of my death(like a youngster wished 2 days ago), $1000 wouldn't help much anyway. Get a quality life term insurance instead.

I also laughed to those insurance plans supposed to pay off your credit card balance in case of your decease.
