这并不代表我对印尼暴乱没有感觉，不代表我对他们没有仇恨
我只是在说明，我虽然不愿意救印尼当初迫害华侨的歹徒，但是我万分愿意救助其他国家的人，以及印尼受灾的无辜者、华侨
我没有要求你对印尼民族有任何感情，也没有暗示任何华人应该有
你的眼睛已经被愤怒蒙蔽了，说明你对整个事件已经是盲目的了
请拨开云雾，看一眼其他的迫切需要帮助的无辜者

National Ceremony to honour Victims of Asian Earthquakes and Tsunamis
OTTAWA, January 5, 2005 -- The Department of Canadian Heritage today released further details about the national ceremony of commemoration to be held this Saturday in honour of those lost or missing following the earthquakes and tsunamis that struck countries in South and South-East Asia, as well as the east coast of Africa, on December 26, 2004.
A public ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 12 noon (EST) at the Civic Centre, Lansdowne Park, 1015 Bank Street, in Ottawa. Governor General Adrienne Clarkson will take part in the ceremony, along with Prime Minister Paul Martin. Carlos Miranda, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, will also participate. The Head of all diplomatic missions in Canada have been invited, as well as all staff of diplomatic missions from directly affected countries.
The national ceremony will be an opportunity for all Canadians to honour the memory of those who lost their lives as a result of these tragic events that have affected a great many people around the world. It will also be a time to express our hopes to recover those who are still missing.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which will also include representatives of various faith communities and youth.
Everyone is encouraged to arrive early and to use public transportation, if possible, since parking is limited at Lansdowne Park.
Canadians will also be able to follow the ceremony on a number of Canadian television networks which will broadcast the event live.
Additional details about the ceremony will be provided as information becomes available and will also be posted on the Department of Canadian Heritage Web site at www.canadianheritage.gc.ca

1. Indonesia is not the only nation in need.
2. You can do whatever you think is right.
3. People are people no matter where they are from or what color their skin is, they are human beings.
4. A natural disaster is not a result of government policy.
5. I'm not going to penalize the whole nation just because there are some bad seeds, particularly those children.
p.s. I have posted those pictures of 98 before in this forum, I am quite aware of that atrocity. However using your logic, you should really spit on the CCP, after all, it's responsible for the millions of dead in the so-called "natural disasters" between the years of 1959 to 1961. Besides, did the CCP do anything to help the rape victims of 98? Do you think the CCP should have done something for the rape victims? If so, do you think you should be doing something for those tsunami victims as well?
Again, I think we ought to put our differences aside and help those in need.

I agree, it's out of the topic. Again using YOUR logic: 如果你亲身经历过 oh let me give you a few examples: 土改, 五八年反右, "三年自然灾害", 文化大革命, and the list goes on and on, then 我不相信你会这么轻松的说出这些话的. Well maybe I do, because people like you tend to believe whatever the CCP is dumping on you.
