Dear Mat1302A Students,
The final exam will consist of 10 multiple choice questions
(each worth 1 point) and 5 long-answer questions worth
between 30 and 40 points in total.
The long answer questions will
be of the following kinds:
a network problem (like on the
mid-term),
a problem on the Leontief model (like on mini-test
2),
a problem on "migration"-type problems (i.e. like in
the last lecture tomorrow, and #11 on the 1999 final),
a diagonalization problem (like #14 on extra test 2) and a problem
on the kernel and the column space of a matrix (similar to
#6 on the 2004 final ).
In Mat1302A, you will not be
examined any further on complex numbers.
I will post my exam office hours on the web site (Google
"Mat1302A") in the next few days.
See you in class tomorrow,
Barry
