请教有关经济学的研究生的问题

收到一个OFFER, 是qualifying program, 需要先修8门本科课程，
请教遇到相似情况的同学：
是不是都要选8门课，好像有的是6门。
可不可以和有关教授讨论一下减少两门，会有用吗？
本人本科是国际金融专业。
有的课上过。
另外希望认识经济学的朋友。

Mine is 5 courses plus 1.5 Credits at the 4000 level.
Which ones of yours?

4000level的课每门都基本是0.5学分一门，三门也就是1.5个学分，所以你们俩是一样的，都是八门课

我现在PASS了QY，在读MA。可以给你一些建议，但因为每年的课程和教授都会有变化，所以建议会打折扣。
不过你不必担心，经济系是中国学生的天下，PHD，MA，QY有大把的中国学生可以问的。

Fall 2004,Winter 2005 and Summer 2005,I did not find any information about ECON 4001, ECON 4002.
Ishall begin this fall.Do you know how many courses can be selected a term? Would you please tell me about the teachers of ECON 4001, ECON 4002, ECON 4200, ECON 4201, and ECON 4706?
