当教师是不错的职业。进teacher program竞争很激烈。有的专业很好找工作，有的难。

It is very hard to find a teaching job in public schools in Ottawa. The waiting list is very long and many native persons still cannot find permanent positions and are acting as supply teachers.

Heard from some people that maybe Toronto and the suburban areas of Ottawa will have some chances.

Situations are different. Whether you can find a permanent job depends on many factors such as the language ability of English/French, gender, skills to deal with teens..etc.
