honestly, I'm trying to get away from books that can get me hooked
but having said that... anyone read Chronic's of Narnia?
I'm thinking of finishing it before the 1st movie comes out this Christmas. Only read a couple of chapters before I got HP6. It is very interesting so far.
Like the way C.S. Lewis wrote it...

you must realise that all the D&D game or book are based on Dragon Lance

Dragonlance is a rather large entity... there are tons of books under this title.
Chronicles and Legends are the 2 trilogies commonly referred to when Dragonlance is mentioned... and yes, they are rather nice, although I didn't like the rules in D&D, and the whole "dragon god" background setting is a bit weird to me, the characters are well made and are much much more endearing then the ones in LotR. Stupid authors killed so many people though...
