the eye exam fee will be covered under your OHIP plan. Normally the shops sell eyewares also has an (independent) opthomologist who can exam your eyes and prescribe glasses for you. This priscription is also honored by other shops if you want to shop around.

Go to the opthomologist and ask if you can get a free eye exam using OHIP.

That's been changed since last year, you have to pay $50 for a regular exam now.

眼镜是暴利行业。 基本可用的可能比较便宜， 每提高一点，价钱可贵拉（如果度数深的话，好镜片都是几百）
