I don't think it will happen in China and I certainly hope it won't happen. China will follow the footstep of Tainwan,i.e., CCP will step down someday in the future through a pieceful evolution process rather the violent overnigh revolution as we wintessed in E Europe a few years ago.

我的看法是三十年。

如果十年内能开放党禁，并同时开放县级选举，当可吸收反对派的大部分能量。五年后巩固成果，十年后开放省级选举。再十年后开放全国直选。

南韩和台湾的成功转型，说明渐进的改革是可行。
另外江朱的引退也说明中共的高层还是知所进退的。其实中共在邓小平之后已经没有一言九鼎的强人。在一个日益开放的中国，重回以前的专制已经是不可能的了。中国的民主化其实已经开始。中国最终走向民主也是全民共识。所争的，是速度和方式而已。

另外，小弟亦不认为台海会爆发战争。

但中共似乎毫无政改诚意,而一味顽固加强其统治,到最后恐怕要以社会暴力革命而告终,这也是我最不愿看到的.

同意。中国的民主化其实已是全民共识。中共领导人不可能扭住这个共识的。另外，他们目前的表现也还差强人意。
