是这样的,有个RESEARCH, 一个加拿大上市公司在美国纽约有股票交易,大部分的SHAREHOLDERS都是美国人.这个公司在ARGENTINA(A国)的有一个办事处,如果这个时候有个A国政府官员要求你交一笔可观的费用给A国政府,然后政府会MINIMIZE" GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE"
这样合法么,在阿根廷和在加拿大,有什么法律依据,另外,这比费用要不要PAY,如果PAY,那叫做什么

If the purpose of paying that fee is to "minimized the government's interferrence", then one can claim that it is a Bribery. (Is it by law that every company must pay that "fee" to operate the business? If so, then it will be a different story.)

Bribery is illegal in Canada. However, since it is only a Canadian Company that is located at New York, Canadian Law may not be appliable in this case. Perhaps it will be a better option to look into the Administrative Law ( and International Business Law, maybe?) area.
