Follow the installation/configuration wizard or the instructions that come with the product.

1. enable WEP on the router. Encryption strength can be as high as 128bit, use preshare key option
2. Calculate the preshare key. On mine (Hawking) just need to enter some text (I just enter letters until it won't allow me anymore) as key and a few letters as "passkey" then click the generate button to get the calculated key.
3. The calculated preshare key has to be entered unchanged in your machine with wireless adapter.
