频频自动RE-START，严重影响使用

new memory 也不行。新换了内存后，还好，让机子开着，24小时也没死。刚才用了一会有开始了
没那么频繁，但这一会发生三次，好像和CPU 温度没关吧。因为如果我不用机子，它就不会发生。
不过换内存以前，开着机子，不用也会发生。

刚看了，BIOS 显示CPU 温度为40C

对了，我用的不是正版的WIN XP。 可否是与此有关？But at the very beginning, the first half year, there was no problem. Computer is 4 years old. I re-installed Win XP half year ago. The problem started 2 month ago.

检查显卡，发生的时候摸一摸烫不烫，烫的话加机箱风扇，$10一个。

I let the machine run overnight to scan for virus. There was nothing happened. As long as I dont use it, especially Win-Office program, it runs well.Why ?

楼主，我可以说，只有两种东西能够引起reboot，就是电源和cpu。注意了，这种reboot是主板产生的一个保护动作，不是什么东西出问题都享有这个权限的。其实啊，很简单，除非你是用pm的cpu，否则不可能在使用的时候产生40这样的低温。主板上面的LM78（还是75?）根本就没有接触到cpu。信它的话还不如跳楼算了。建议你仔细检查cpu的温度，十有八九，就是它。如果你是p4，能有了60度就很不错了！

顺便指出一个错误，cpu 在不同载荷下的温度是不一样的。不工作时没问题，一工作马上出问题反而证明了基本就是cpu的温度问题

Sounds convincible. Most of the time, it won't happen within first 30 min after turning on the machine. How to check the temperature of CUP? I can only reach the CPU heatsink under the fan and did not feel very hot.

I dont know if the cup is hot or not. Can I just remove the fan, turn on the machine and directly check the CUP temperature when it is running? Will this hurt the machine? Or I just buy a new fan and put it on? What should I do now, please?

DON'T DO THAT !!! - Your CPU could be burned in seconds! You can remove the heat sink and fan to do cleaning. After this, put new "Silcon Glue" (don't know the exact name for that mud ) between the cpu and heat sink. Then, check the effect. If not good enough, you need to put a case fan, or change a good CPU fan w/ new good heat sink finally.

AMD CPU is too easy to heat up and burn out too!

我问过我们老师了，硅胶叫"sillcon paste"。就是牙膏后面那个词，专指一些软呼呼的东西。

按楼上的去做就行了。

不过，其实没有风扇也没有所谓…… 这种保护性reboot本来就是防止cpu烧坏的……如果没有风扇的话，根据我的个人经历，一块celeron 333超到500,在没有风扇的情况下（其实是忘了扣上去了），能熬大约3到5分钟左右，开机足够……OTL

北桥芯片就不会过热？？
劣质主板、电源导致重启最常见，主板在那几种情况下会保护性复位？过热仅仅是其中一种。
散热器不正常会这样，但这种低级错误＋测温问题很少见罢了
