haven't received it yet. and i also bought some other parts from NCIX, still waiting.

I have setup it and it has good performance. The up time is around 50 seconds and my 2500 barton @2060MHZ is about 70 Seconds. There is some room for ocing as I tried to run at 12x216 MHZ without problem.

你见过哪门子测试是比启动时间的？就算同样配置下（cpu除外），这是你说的condition吧，性能好的cpu还是有可能比差的慢，你就凭这个来比较难道不荒谬？？

did you find the 486 booting faster than PI or PII with the same configuration?

如果486 dx80 和pi100可以装在一个平台的话，486的自检速度未必慢于奔腾，cpu的主频相对高了，但系统外频一样，cpu的架构不同（比如缓存层数和大小不同，指令表复杂程度不同...），虽然频率更高、设计有优势，但也要考虑复杂的在cpu自检时会消耗相对长的时间，如果你拿同频的amd64和xp在同一平台比启动时间，同样很难说64会更快。

好比开车，不能光看摩托车启动后前几十米更快，就能得出摩托车跑得比汽车快的结论。
