Winter tires

Are winter tires necessary for Ottawa’s winter? And I am looking around for my Honda accord EX 4 doors. In Honda service department, they sell it for $160 /each plus taxes. ( Brand Toyo or something).
Is this brand good? Or what’s your recommendation for winter tires. :thanks: :thanks:

If you go OK Tire or Bank Street Tire for Toyo tires, you get better. I got $117 including install, but Toyoto dealers ask $160. Toyo tires are the best on the road.
Winter tires are very important in Ottawa to imporve driving.
