精华 我最近突然特迷Phantom of the Opera。。。

我只看过电影版的，在反复比较过电影版的CD和音乐剧的Original London cast (with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman) CD，我觉得还是喜欢电影版的一些 (不过还是很想看一次真正的Phantom音乐剧。。。)。

看过音乐剧或电影的都谈谈感想？

I watched it 3 times in the cinema last year. The music is haunting.

Except the several famous songs/scences, I also like the group dance of masquerade. And Raoul looked soo cool when he jumped onto a horse (to follow Christine to her father's tomb).

这个Phantom版本的特点就是帅, 呵呵

去百老汇听一下，那歌剧的现场才是最震撼的。
唱了这么多年，还是经久不衰

First time I watched it was in the Grand Theatre in Shanghai during my brief visit home. Happened to be there and enjoyed the show very much. My poor mom had a hard time trying to watch the show and catch the translation on the sideboard at the same time.

I watched the movie version later and preferred the theatre one guess it's sitting in a theatre again had brought back memories of sitting through all available 话剧 during the highschool and university days. Nowadays I only go to kids shows like Disney on Ice, Jack and Jill or Emperor and the new Clothes....

Music is stunning and definitely 绕梁三日

Absoultely.
Although, Crowford won't play at Broadway anymore, it is still by far the best place to watch shows such as , Phantom of Opera, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon etc..
Maybe we should organiza a Opera Trip - NYC this spring.:smokin:

Can you believe that Crawford is in his 60s?? Actually they still gave it some thought about casting him for the movie, but director Joel Schumacher wanted a sexy and young cast, so obviously Crawford was out of the question. They also considered Antonio Banderas and John Travolta for the role...

As for Christine, they held screen tests for Keira Knighley (which is funny 'cause she can't sing and got really embarrassed), Anne Hathaway, Katie Holmes etc. But I'm glad Emmy Rossum was the one chosen.
