Once again Sens manage to find a new way to disappointing its fans. Alfy and Chara need to go, I've always thought Alfy was the main reason for Ottawa's post season mischief, as much as I loved him for his skill, his playing style doesn't match the playoff intensity. Fisher is ideal for this vacancy.

Murray is a great coach, he reads and understands both sens and the game well, unfortunately, no one stepped up after the momentum shift game one. Given another opportunity, Murray is the guy who can take ottawa to the stanley cup.

IMHO, Havlat single handed won the first serie for Ottawa, he is exciting to watch, some believe he'd be the next mario lemux. however, like other european players, Havlat is lacking the physical play. He is also fragile, he reminds me of Robberto Baggio in soccer. Great skill comes with great injury. Having said that, I believe he is a must keep for ottawa, without him, the serie against tempa would've turned the other way.

Mike Fisher is the most impressive ottawa player this playoff. Not only he played tough, but also he scored and assisted Scheffer. Fisher-Shaeffer-Havalat line was the most dangeous line for sens during its short playoff life. Fisher reminds me of the ex capatin cunnithworth. He is definitely the captain material.

Dominator, the greatest goalie I've ever seen. Some fans blame Hasek for ottawa's loss. A bit harsh, yet I understand their point of view. Hasek is the type of guy that can turn the serie around. He is the type of guy who can bail the team out when the defense collapse. What I see in this series is time after time, the defense collapse in front of sabre's quick counter attack. I noticed at game 3, Redden totally lost confidence on Emery and he chose to pick up a penalty, rather than let Emery handle the loose body. I do believe with Dominator on goal, Ottawa could've had a good chance with Bufflo. One comforting thing is that, Hasek will be staying in Ottawa for the remaining of his hocky career. Go hasek Go.

Now, the rockies, Mozeros and Vochinkov needs to stay, true that their mistakes caused ottawa the series, however, I see huge potential on them, just like Redden in his early years in Ottawa. On the other hand, big chara need to go, Chara is another guy that's perfectly suited for regular season game only. He losses his focus in the speedy and intensive playoff period.

Few other players like Spezza, Heatley, Vermet, Smolinsk etc... any others have opnions? Verbal attack is welcomed.

Since you opened up this topic, let's go at it.

SENS' dissapointment has many factors:
1) Alfredsson line: Whether you like or not, Alfy has given 100% of his effort, but again, who wasn't in the playoff. The mistake is that the team rely on Spezza a 22 year old KID. Spezza's maturity level is not there yeat, another words, we can't expect him at take SENS to the promise land, although, he will eventually, not now. Heatley is compltetely disappeared in the playoff. He is a 50-goal scorer, he has to produce whether he like it or not. SENS expect a young centerman with one veteran winger and a first time playoff winger to win the stanley cup, which will never happen.

2) Fisher line: I like Fisher, he plays hard and not afraid to get into the corner to fight the puck. But we have to realize that this line is only the second line, besides, Fisher, Schaefer, and Havlat didn't register one point at the second round against the Buffalo. Fisher will be a good second line centreman throughout his hockey career, and perhaps he will be a capitain one day but not now. Havlat was phonemanon in first round against Tampa, again he was disappeared as all the others in the second round. He will never become Mario type of player, he will be a good winger and that is about it.

3) Defense: Chara definitely is the biggest disappointment. But Redden wasn't playing good either during the Baffalo series. Chara and Wadden, one of them will be traded, hence the salary cap, and I would like to keep Redden, and trade Chara. On the other hand, we have to face the fact that team who gets Chara will be a tough team to play against. C'est la vie.

4) Goaltender: Dominator is one of the big factor why SENS lost. First of all, he was put in by his friend, John Muckler, but he choose not show up and his excuse was his injury, which the team doctor has cleared his condition about month ago, so why he didn't want to play. He has been the distraction throughout the playoff. Emery is doing a fantastic job, and he was not fair to be put into this situation as the number 1 goaltender, condsider he was put in to play 25 regular season games and a good backup to Hasek.

Overall, the whole team is not playing hard like Edmonton Oilers, and we don't have player like Ryan Smith block shots end up loosing his teeth with a puck shot into his mouth, who return to the game after put on few stitches. I agree with Muckler that team doesn't need a big overhaul, but few fine tuning is what we needed. Muckler has to understand with the salary cap, he can't keep all the layers as he wishes. His biggest headache will be signing Redden, Chara, Havlat, even he knows that he can't sign everyone, but he doesn't want to give them up for nothing.

I think SENS should have an established number one centreman to play with Alfy, and few gritty players with the rings on their fingers, and only those players know what it takes to go all the way to bring the cup home. Hey, what I know, I am only a fan.

BTW, why verbal attack?
