It is not accurate to say "蒸汽". Some cleaning machines (deep cleaner) make a quick heating for the cleaning solution right before injecting on carpet to make it more active. Actually it is "warm" washing. Depending on the weather and the brand of the machine (its vacumme capability), it takes 4 hours - 24 hours to dry.

我准备在商店里租一个steam carpet washing mashine， 也不知道能不能很彻底的把地毯洗干净，是全湿还是半湿，只知道还要买那里的药水配合洗。

不过以后也打算在amozon上买一个，你给的amozon link 那个型号的hoover现在才180。
