Help on PS2 hard drive

I have network adapter and HD advance. I installed the Fuji 8.5 GB hard drive. The console also says "please insert play station format disc" when loading the hdadvance. The had is used before in PC and I removed all the partitions and reset all the bits at low level. I checked the hd is compatible with HD advance. Any idea or help will be much appreciated. ...do u know HDLOADER? if u dont know that,please find some info about that.
1st u need find HDL and format your hard drive. PS2 hard drive format is different from PC so have to use HDL format your HD on your PS2
