你要是在意安全性并且会在高速上开的话，还是打消这类超级小车的念头。车体太轻，万一发生事故时吸收能量能力太有限，并且这边高速上冬天侧风有时很强，我还真得很少在高速上看到Mini，Smart之类的车。

May I ask What model and option is your Yaris? how much did you pay for it? Thanks

I had 2 Dr hatchback with LE package C(anto, a/c, power everthing, ABS, and some minor updates), totally around 20 thousand(includes tax), you should get better deal(I got first round of 2007 model, at least you would pay 1% less for tax).RS model includes more features and better performance, but maynot be worth to pay extra. if you have enough money, mini is better chioce. and honda has another sibling, fit,there would many personal preferences, you'd better make an appointment for test drive.

Yaris is stable

Japanese sub-compact car is still stable at 120 km/h. Although I never drive one before, but I believe it can handle at 140 km/h without floating. The pressure effect cause by large truck is minimum. I used to drive superbike and cut by long truck at 140 km/h with minor pulling, so for sub-compact car should be nothing.

BMW's Mini is a different class price. It is wider, so it is more stable, with BMW's safety.

Honda Fit is few thousand more than Yaris, and equally stable as well.

2-door (or 4 door) Honda Civic is much stable, compare to Yaris, but it is different class, and price as well.

I'm not familiar with American, and Europe car. No comment on the comparison, but certainly a few more models to choose.

If you want to increase the safety of Yaris (apply to any car), replace wider tire (205 mm, or 215 mm), and lower the body. This may cost you $1k - $2k
