actually, i wanna take 42.211 as my elective course; and my friend told me this course is easy, he just attended one class and got a B+, but he is not a Chinese. So, i am wondering is the course also easy for Chinese. now, i think it's not so easy, because it stll depends on the prof. (it's not like some math courses, no mattter who is your prof, you will easily get a good mark.)

yup. marc(my prof) is not a fun guy to play with.
actually, it is much easier for native speakers to get a decent mark on 42.211(OB for short). lots of the stuffs are common sense. but my prof requires tons of essays, like 4 pages, and 8 pages, besides he is very picky over your writings. hoho~

if your prof. required group works, things will be much easier.
unfortunately, marc required individual essays.
