Wou, a lot of comments here. I found the people who hate the cross-nation marriage the most (especially Marriages between Chinese women and an non-Chinese Men) are CHINESE MEN. On the other hand, those CHINESE MEN strangely admire some Chinese men who have non-Chinese wives. Why is that? racist? or lost of confidence? or something else? I have no idea!!
Well, I know a lot of girl friends who married local Canadian guys. None of them have such money problem with their husbands. I guess it depends on who you choose to marry to or whether the communication was good while you were in love. I also know some Canadian families, most of them put their after married money together too. So I guess the story is just a minor case. But I heard AA or marriage contract is also popular in China as well. Therefore, my conclusion is that it is important to find out whether your future husband have the same money concept as you before getting married, no matter whether he is or not Chinese. Never assume his thought is the same as you or as your thought would be. By doing enough communication, you will reduce the chance of the failure of any marriage.
