I bought RESP from CST (Canadin schoolarship Trust) for my daughter. I put about 15K in total for 5 years, then I got it back after 5 years. when my daughter was 18, she got paid scholarship about $2100 per year for 4 years. CST return the registration fee to my daughter in the first year as well. I invested 15k during 5 years, return value was about $8400 (include $2000 from government). It is not bad invest. If I had put 15k in stock, I would have got none!
