Looks like opening a window on the side of bedroom 2 is a good choice..Also an extra window on the side of family would not a bad idea either since it is facing south not north with the change...

再次谢谢大家的热情回帖。我们的房不是corner unit, 但是我仔细看过了，至少二楼能照进阳光。昨天下午我又给sales person打电话，她口气有些让步， 说可以帮我们努力试试在bedroom #2 开窗，但是cost 得由我们出。我现在正在联系design center.
过去这几天是很气愤，但是退一步想想，我们确实太大意了。现在我们也没有精力和钱去跟他们fight. (旧房子还要卖)。如果报价不贵的话，我们就开个南窗算了，如果报价太离谱的话， 我们就只能吃哑巴亏，认栽了！唯有希望广大华人擦亮眼睛，再不要犯我们这样的错误了。

As I know that lots of canadians don't care 房屋朝向 at all. When we bought our first house 8 years ago, we bought a east-west(door facing east). Our next door neighbour chose lot before us, but they chose the lot which is exactly you have now. I asked them late if they satisfy with their house orientation, they said there is nothing wrong with that. If I wouldn't ask this question, they even didn't think it is a problem for someone. Since there is air conditioning in Summer and heating in Winter.

同情一下楼主， 买房子总有意想不到的东西。 最好的办法就是勤问各种问题。 我们倒是知道新房子的车道是预先订好的， 但是我们也是第一次与设计师面谈时， 才突然发现了一个大的意外： 一楼是８尺高， 不是９尺！！ 只好加了７k Upgrade.

Thanks again for all the replies. Because our house is on Quebec side, TARION won't help. There should be some similar association on Quebec side, but our French is so poor, it's very hard to get some valuable information from website. Anyway, this Sunday we are going to talk with our sales agent. Will keep all updated with all the ongoing news.
